Austin Kiley

Austin Kiley (he/him) is a vocal music teacher at his hometown high school in Vestal, NY. He received a BM and MM in Music Education from Ithaca College, where he served as the president of Ithacappella. Since 2011 at Vestal High School, he has directed multiple a cappella groups, a jazz choir, the select choir "Vestal Voices," the annual musical, and has taught voice lessons, acting, and music classes in theory, history, production, interaction with media, and contemporary instruments. One of his groups, Bear Necessities, has won multiple awards at the ICHSA's and is represented on BOHSA. For years, Austin ran The Vocal Connection in upstate NY, which paired high school and collegiate a cappella groups for year-long mentorships. He performs with the Southern Tier Singers' Collective and directs their vocal jazz and a cappella programs. He loves performing with community theatres and reading fantasy/sci-fi books!
